A Home for Jenny

This pretty gourd birdhouse was a Christmas gift from one of my daughters.  My granddaughters have been asking me to hang it outside and I did TRY to put it in the Black Hills Spruce in the back but I needed some kind of hook.  So, I hung it on a hook on the porch until I could find the appropriate fastener.  Little did I think it would be so attractive to birds in that place.  Today I noticed a wee Jenny Wren popping in and out with twigs and grass.  She stopped on the hook several times to sing the prettiest song  This is SO close; right outside my door-wall.  Just when I think there can't be anything new for me to see in my yard...

Could be the perfect spot. You may not need to look for any other place to hang that pretty bird house.
