Surprises
One of the surprises I saw when we returned was this Azalea bush. It was a Mother's Day gift last year and I left it sitting in the pot all summer. Finally in the fall I planted it in the front of the house where the porch would partially shield it from snow and wind. Then I also put 3 posts around it and a nice piece of burlap. When we returned, I peeked over the burlap and saw it was blooming. I couldn't get it uncovered too fast!
It is an absolute delight to see how shiny and new the leaves on the rose bushes look. I just have to find out how to prevent the black spot and mold that make the bushes look so awful.
