Town Ducks

| Our town, being a series of islands and canals in Lake Erie, is home to a vast number of ducks. We love our ducks,. although the birds can become pests for the residents who feed them in their yards. |

There are several different breeds and some intermingling of the breeds after all these years. We also have a lot of geese, seagulls, and, sometimes, swans. Our ducks don't migrate in winter since the Edison plant upriver keeps the water warm...most of the time. |

Look at the babies. I just love nature. My niece works at a local museum here. There are plenty of ducks and babies in the spring. I really think the museum needs "duck crossing" signs.
